What stays in your browser

Your shortlist is saved in local storage under good-listen-shortlist-v2. Gift-finder answers and results are kept in session storage for this browser tab, so you can return after viewing a product. Closing the tab ends that session. Confirmed equipment and exact owned-product choices can be carried from a collection into the finder through a one-use session entry, good-listen-entry-handoff-v1. Ticket-template wording and songwriter worksheet notes are held in page memory. The worksheet copies notes only when you select Copy brief; it does not send them to a seller. The template PDF and PNG are created on your device. Explicitly saved gift plans use local storage under good-listen-gift-plans-v1. Plans contain product references, dated public product snapshots and safe shopping constraints; artist searches and songwriter stories are not saved in plans. A recipient label is optional, local and excluded from portable output. Copy, Share, Print and Export happen only when you choose them. Clearing browser site data removes saved gifts and plans.

Searches sent to the server

Concert searches send the entered artist, city or ZIP, date range, radius and budget to our server. Entering an artist in the gift finder or concert search also requests upcoming shows worldwide from Ticketmaster using the artist name, without your location, budget or nearby date filters. The concert form starts this lookup automatically after you stop typing. Album searches send the artist name. The server contacts Ticketmaster, Apple, Wikidata and ZIP-location services as needed; MusicBrainz may be used if configured.

The server temporarily caches results and request counters. The providers receive the search information needed to return results. Hosting providers may retain routine access logs, including IP addresses, under their own retention settings.

External websites and shared links

Following a seller or review link opens an external website with its own privacy policy. A shared shortlist URL contains product identifiers and can be read by anyone you send it to. Do not put personal information into a shared URL.

Tracking and accounts

Analytics is disabled in this build. The site sends no analytics events. There are no advertising trackers, marketing cookies, user accounts or mailing-list subscriptions.

When enabled later, task events distinguish a completed finder, saved plan, download and seller link. A link click does not establish a purchase. Vercel processes routine connection information under its published analytics privacy policy.
